The Energy Explorerz Campaign is a new, innovative, interactive and action-oriented concept aimed at informing, educating and inspiring young Ugandans in areas of Energy, Energy Efficiency and Climate change. The campaign was launched by GIZ, but is now an independent campaign.
Mission:
- To raise awareness about Energy and Climate Change in a sustainable manner
- To make Ugandans aware of possibilities for the use of renewable energies and introducing specific technologies
- To provide target groups with information on the proper use of energy, particularly on energy saving measures
- To deliver training to teachers in different types of schools, ensuring sustainability and helping raise a generation of energy and environment conservation conscious people
